Many people would like to join the sport of target shooting but don’t know where to start.  The Owen Sound Revolver Club refers members to courses provided by independent, qualified instructors.  These instructors will provide you with the course materials and examinations required to obtain your Firearms Possession and Acquition License (PAL).

Once you have obtained your PAL you can own and shoot Non-Restricted rifles and shotguns.  If you want to further your education you can take the Restricted PAL course.  Successfully completing this course will give you the knowledge of handgun operation and allow you to purchase and fire Restricted firearms.

The Owen Sound Revolver Club also has a Mentor Program to help you take the next steps after you’ve obtained your firearms license.  Experienced, trained club members will help guide you through the use and maintenance of your firearm which helps ease the learning curve tremendously.  It’s also a great way to meet other members of the club.
